Role & Responsibilities:

We are seeking a highly-motivated and experienced Senior Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Engineer in Industrial Engineering, you will be responsible for implementing and sustaining industrial engineering principles across the manufacturing process of our mobile production line. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals to contribute to optimizing processes, improving efficiency, and driving operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement industrial engineering strategies and solutions to improve manufacturing processes.
  • Conduct time and motion studies to identify process bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., production, quality, maintenance) to develop process improvements that maximize efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Apply Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other industrial engineering principles to reduce waste and improve productivity.
  • Monitor and optimize production lines for maximum performance and quality standards.
  • Analyze production data and generate reports on key performance metrics (KPIs).
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and best practices in manufacturing.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives and champion change management in the organization.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior engineers and production teams on industrial engineering practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to production systems and processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Education: B.Tech/B.E. in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
  • Experience: Minimum 5-8 years of experience in industrial engineering, with a proven track record in process improvement, particularly in manufacturing.
  • Skills: Strong problem-solving, analytical skills, and proficiency in industrial engineering tools and techniques (e.g., value stream mapping, work measurement, process flow analysis).
  • Software: Proficiency in engineering software tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or simulation tools.
  • Personal Traits: Leadership skills, proactive, team-oriented, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills.
